Crappie Bob's Guide Service

Let's catch some slabs! Crappie are fun to chase and more fun to catch.

With a lifetime of Sam Rayburn experience, I will put you on fish. With my knowledge of the lake and the fish, along with electronic sonar, Sidescan, Downscan, and Livescope, get ready to have some fun. Your catch will be filleted and bagged for you to take home and enjoy.

I have spent years fishing this lake, so that you and your family will have a great time on the water.

Join me in East Texas for a day on the lake you won't forget!

Lake Sam Rayburn

Fishing Report from TPWD (Jul. 9)

GOOD. Water stained; 86 degrees; 1.54 feet below pool. Freshwater is still entering the lake from the river, and water is being released. Topwater bass bite is early in the morning and evening. Bass are deeper on points, drains and humps with crankbaits and Carolina rigs. Crappie are good on brush piles, but many undersized fish and bluegill to sift through. Catfish are good in 18-20 feet of water on cut bait. A few white bass are schooling on main lake points. Cast baits to shade. Report by Captain Lynn Atkinson, Reel Um N Guide Service.
