Fishing Report from TPWD (Apr. 2)

GOOD. Water stained; 72 degrees; 0.46 feet above pool. Water temperature can reach the high 70s in the backs of pockets. Bass are spawning on the banks hitting white spinnerbaits, and white swim jigs. Crappie are on the banks and spawned out. It is the time to wade around the stumps for crappie. Catfish are good in shallow water in the creeks with cut bait. White bass are good points with jigging spoons. Report by Captain Lynn Atkinson, Reel Um N Guide Service.
